Howdy all, this weekend we had a road trip to the Gold Coast to get me serviced and get me a new back tyre (plus it was an excuse for a weekend away).......

Due to the time that we left for our weekend away, and the distance involved.....and the fact that Anthony & Vicki had luggage to carry and would possibly be bringing stuff back with them....we took the car with me on a trailer and then off we went first thing Saturday morning.

As you can imagin, the new one looks (and performs) much better!!   So now I'm all ready to go for another week and ready for another 6000km!

Last Tuesday we had another wet ride back from Grafton and for some reason, Anthony's protective clothing wasn't providing the waterproofing abilities that it should and hopefully coating it in some water repellent spray will help! 

So as a result of the massive downpour, he was sitting in a puddle most of the way home....I was wet too, but I'm a bike so its ok. It would be nice to have a whole week of fine weather this week.
