Dave was looking at a Triumph as well. He is having a test ride on a Thunderbird when he gets back from Newcastle. He was looking at this bike last year when it was just realeased.

Or even closer is the Oxley Highway between Walcha and Port Macquarie. Awesome road surfaces. Brilliant ride. Went down there on the big girl last year and am REALLY looking forward to going back on my new bike, a Triumph Sprint 1050.

This one can actually get lean angles and go around corners without making strange scrapy noises...

My gosh thats one clean GP1, a year already? time flies when your having fun.

At least you have a few new roads down there to play with. Not that the well known roads around Northern NSW would ever get boring on a GP1.

A suggestion and one that is a bit closer to home is the B500 (Great Alpine Road) from Omeo to Bruthen. Highly recommended, same sort of road and a brilliant road surface!

A couple of coats of Silicon Spray on your gear should fix your wet issues. Works a treat for me down here (keeps the cold out too).

Tim was having a hell of a time getting the tyre off as well. It looked a little on the thin side :)

I have a pair of those gloves, they are great and the little wiper is very cute.

I've found wearing them in to be a bit painful as the leather is so stiff that my fingers get a bit sore, but at least it's not from the cold.

Good luck with move Derbi and Anthony. I am sure it is exciting.
