Scooter Spotting

Heard of train spotting? Well, this is the scooter version for all of us enthusiasts that think scooters are the "ducks guts" when it comes to choice of transport. This will mainly be a pictorial blog, but you never know what banter you might find, just to mix it up a little.
  • Two PX200E's in Two Blocks

You don't see a Vespa PX 200 E (also known as 200 PX-E Arcobaleno) around town these days.  Seeing two of them, both in red, in two blocks of each other on Elizabeth Street, Melbourne is quite a surprise and I suppose a sight!

One was in pure mint condition and for a scooter that is between 18 to 26 years old, was truly remarkable and shows true dedication of an enthusiast.

The other was on the crusty side but was more likely to be a daily ride and every minute on-board, enjoyed.

Lets have a look at the details on the PX200E:

  • Will the real Tubsta please stand up

With the identity of The Stig from the famous TV show, Top Gear, being revealed (much to my disgust, I liked the secrecy).  I thought it was about the right time to show off my latest pride and joy, oh and myself, for the scooter community to see.

If you see me out on my scoots or just roaming the streets with a camera, taking stupid pictures of random scooters.  Come up and say "G'day".  I wont bite!

Below is my Midnight Blue Piaggio MP3 400ie on a foggy summers morning.

  • Wow, it is hot! Summer is finally here

Not exactly spotting scooters, more the dashboard after flicking through the trip computer modes on the way home this evening.  Honestly, this was one day I was in a hurry to get off the scoot.
