To be honest I've only seen Roman Holiday so far & LOVED it. I have a DVD of Quadrophenia here but it's still wrapped in plastic. Will have to track down those others.

    Return of the Jedi.

Sounds odd, I know. I was watching it with my kids, who are only young, & when the stormtroopers go through the woods on those riding-hover machines, my son kept calling out, 'Look! Look! Flying scooters!'

From what I've heard, Lambrettas were more popular in the north of England, and Vespas in the south (as well as the rest of Europe).

Has to be Quadrophenia. Though there are lots of good movies where there are scooters popping about. Munich is one - and who could ever forget the opening sequence to the French movie "Taxi" with the pizza delivery guy.

Or the recent film 'Benjamin Button' with Brad Pitt on a Vespa. I love the rusted look it has.

The Top Gear episode where they were on bikes was a cracker.  Clarkson (I think it was him), and that Vespa.  Had to feel sorry for the scoot with all the times he dropped it.  Ripper episode.
