Re: DERBI GP1 RACING- FACT OR FICTION?

I think both the 125 and 250 will be fuel injected so pretty neat and price wont be cheap on the 125. The 250 on the other hand will most likley settle aroung other 250 cc scooters in the market like beverley, geopolis and sportscity etc maybe even a tad cheaper. But with the 125 it may look expensive up against some of the larger capacity stuff. The thing to remember here is that the 125 and probably same for things like the aprilia sportcity as well the engine is a liquid cooled 4 valve unit that will get along quite nicely and will not fall far short of 105 - 115 km/h top speed and will easily trave on most short freeway sections with ease.

As Allen said, not much of a price difference from 125 to 250 by the looks of things.

The extra Gadgetry at the rear will add a little weight too, but who cares!

For me it would usually be a choice between black or red....but the blue looks really cool..... (then would i have to change my riding gear to suit the colour of the scoot....) To many decisions, not enough dollars.....

Come on Santa, GP1's for everybody!!!!

I see where you are coming from with the 125 Dak, But the 250 is a very different story.

Saying that, Until they release pricing details, who knows?

K-star - Are you doing the Ita Buttrose drag thing again? The Derbi GP1 is the most exciting sports scooter to hit the Aussie market & is well worth the hype. Lots of substance to this scoot
