    Re: are you being avoided

Is funny.. I wear an open face helmet (yes I know the risks) and I openly keep it on when I duck into the locak supermarket.  I look out for the signs requesting me to take it off, there is none.

I am waiting for the day when some over zealous security guard or 15  year old check out operator aske me to remove it, due to the "Law"...

    Hasn't happened yet.. But I am a hoping :D

    Cheers

    Re: are you being avoided

Are you really tall and big? That's enough to intimidate people I think :D.

I'm fairly short, small, and look like an unmotivated uni student, and i use a predominantly white coloured helmet, so I don't look too intimidating. In fact I reckon the guys who notice me are wondering about why their wives wouldn't let them ride, and the girls that stare strangely at me are probably wondering how much longer I'd live on a motorbike.

Well... that's what I think they are thinking anyway...

Man, I take mine off as soon as Im not riding. I didnt know you could still wear them in a shop etc. I guess 'bank robber' comes to mind!

I carry the momo inside the shops, and use it as a small shopping basket if I dont need much.

Is more when I need to duck in for milk, bread, six pack... And is for like 5 minutes.. Its more of a CBF to take it off :D

No law that says you have to take them off.. Just signs and rules.

     You forgot coffee & sushi!

Admittedly I use pcs mostly out of laziness but also out of concern that the software I need to use isn't compatible with MAC.

Does anyone know if Autocrud & Micro$tation are MAC compatible?

Actually you cant be descrimated against.. If a site as you described above has clear signs, indicating the removal of a helmet then you have to comply or they can ask you to leave.

When I am asked to remove it and its because of the Law.. I always ask them what is the law.
