    Request for informed opinions

Does anyone here have experience with the Manhattan 150G......or with Manhattan scooters in general?
I have looked for a review but can't find anything.

I would be interested in reading your views, as I am including the 150G in my short list of scooters for consideration.

    Thanks.

    Re: Request for informed opinions

Its actually not a bad scoot and would be for my liking by far the best Manhattan in the stable.

Cant be compared to a Vespa which is what you were thinking in your first post, but its not a bad thing. Rides well and has enough power for city riding. It is a budget scooter and for entry level classics you could do worse.

Manhattan is now being retailed/sold and supported centrally from the motorino/scooterino chain in Sydney.

What else is on your short list to compare it against

    Vespa LX 150, Vespa ET4 150, Vespa ET4 125, Vespa LX 125, Kymco Like 125, Manhattan 150G.

As you can see, all with a retro-style shape.

    Geez! So I did.

There's a dealer here in Canberra (Motorini) and I must've had the blinkers on when I went in there several weekends ago to test-ride a Vespa.
I'll add that one to my short list.
Although I think, over the past 24 hours, it has shortened even further in that my heart is really saying "Get a Vespa"!  :)

Yesterday I forked out $1700 for repairs to one of my motorbikes so once the coffers start to top up again I'll go searching in earnest.

     Yes....I noticed that.
Although, when I asked my local Kymco dealer (literally just around the corner from where I work) about it, he knew nothing!

Maybe he was just wanting to get rid of all the 125's that he had. Big Smile

Any idea when it is expected?
As mentioned, the local dealer said he knew nothing (Sergeant Schultz!).

    Hi Crun

dealer might just have missed it. It was always said to be coming out around July/August and that still should be the case I would think.

The Like 200 will run the injected version of the People S 200 motor , I think its around 163 cc. If your not talking to Don at Moto Central in Mitchell then your not talking to the right person.

Allen, Don was the bloke who told me that he knew nothing about it.
That would have been about a month ago.

I'll check in with him next week and see if he has any update on the "know nothing". Smile
