It certainly looks like it. And the best thing is, for relatvely reasonable bucks you can get kits from guys called RYCA that turn this:

    into this:

they've been selling them in the US for a while and I always thought it was too bad we don't get the donor model (ie, the Savage) here!

The S40 has been sold in NZ continuously since the mid '80s. The cafe racer looks nice.

I had one of these back in the eighties. After the 750/4 came out no-one wanted the 500/4. I bought mine for $500 and it was the best bike I had. Rode it for years....

The CB750 was a thing to behold remember looking at one in Scarborough Yorkshire as a 16 year old Suzuki  K11P owner in 1969 it was incredible compared to most offerings from the UK

My bike one day or atleast I can dream....Harley from the movie 'Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man'

I think you can get them custom built to look like the one ffrom the movie for around $40,000.

Downside, that seat sure isn't made for long rides.

The CB500 Four was copied by Alessandro de Tomaso (Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans) for the Benelli 750 Sei. I might like to buy a CB500 Four but they are over-priced hipster bikes now.

According to 'wiki' this bike was formerly the Savage.At$8,300 otr this seems like a good price but then I don't keep up with bike prices.

A couple of weeks ago I talked to an old bloke riding a 26 year old Savage with a sidecar, the frame was factory modified or built for this purpose. From talking to him I'm guessing he was a 'bodgie' in the old days & still loves his bike but needs the sidecar to keep going, cheers to him I say!

    Something Different

The Honda Vultus NM4 is a 745cc parallel twin 54 bhp @ 6250 rpm 6 speed dual clutch 650mm seat height ABS brakes . Don't hold your breath for getting it here about $ Aus 17,500 converted from sterling reminds me a bit of a overgrown CF Moto V3 Wink

    Re: Something Different

Yeah, yet another version of Honda's NC platform, the same underpinnings as the Integra but weirder and heavier (it is very heavy, something like 260kg from memory!). I doubt Honda Australia will bring them here and I don't blame them - I doubt it would sell well. Apparently it's very popular in Asia though, which was its target market.
