I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's about time Honda had a desirable scooter. It deserves to do well!

Yes you can buy a whole host of accessories for the PCX like the tan seat and the brown panels. The scooter is fully customisable.... And also the prices for the accessories are all at a pretty affordable price point.(Out of Thailand you see)

Mock wood grain might be the go , but fake carbon is always a winner

thanks pyrah, the PCX seems to be really popular in Thailand.  i have been 'researching' on those forums for a few weeks, but not sure if I could post a link here.  there is also one thread on there about doing pcx mods and upgrades too.  other issues have been the seat (take out the hump, better padding) and the rear shocks.  The Thai's seem to be running a lot of ethenol fuel, so maybe this scoot will be able to manage quite well on it.

I have booked a test ride on Saturday, the dealer says they have sold one already and had a bit of interest.  I am really excited about this scooter, I hope it lives up to expectations.  The price of $4000 +orc, I think is great.

Looking at other 125cc on the marker, I would much prefer to pay only extra few hundred for Honda quality.  If this had been made in Europe, we might have been looking at a price of $5500 or so, but the cost where able to be kept down by the thai labour market.

Has anyone found a link to the accessories brochure - the only one I have seen sofar is in the scootersales review/launch writeup - and its a little small to decipher.

I've had the pleasure of riding a PCX over the last three days and it certainly is a quality 125. Super smooth and really well built, massive underseat storage, a real treat to toss around any urban road. Got the feeling that it would last for years. Keeps up well with the traffic. Will cruise at 90k/h all day and can hit 110 with a tail wind. Mixed opinions re its looks from dead set ugly to it looks like a sportsbike. I personally like it and it just gets better the more its riden.  I reckon it would be sensational as a 300.

You were lucky I didn't steal it. Made me remember what a good commuter a quality 125 is.
