rego (Queensland) - steps in charges

    Hi

been out of the country for a while and have only had >750cc bikes for some decades prior to that in Australia, so I'm not sure of the costs of rego for smaller cc bikes / scooters. I'm just about to pick up my first scooter (in Australia leastwise) this weekend (a T-Max) and I'm conisdering getting something else for "round town" if I can get it for less rego.

What are the steps in rego (and 3rd party if that applies) for bikes ... like is it:

    • < 50cc
    • < 250cc
    • 250cc and over

    or is it something else?

I'm tempted to look for something like a Honda 70cc step through from the late 60's if that's still possible

as far as i know currently rego is single seat or double seat. Get a quote here: https://www.service.transport.qld.gov.au/eQuote/eQuote.jsp

    Hi

yes, I'm aware of that page, but its just tedious using it and doing repeated analysis of each cc to see when they could just publish a table... likethey used to

you dont need to, its something like 220 for single seat, and 440 for dual seat. Maybe 30-40$ more not sure though
