AGE SHALL NOT WEARY US..... NOT MUCH ANYWAY

Just wondering who the oldest Scooter Community member is.....??? And the youngest????

I was at work a couple of years ago, when I was (jokingly) demanding respect as I was 'one of the oldest people in the company'. Then I realised, with horror...... oh dear. I AM the oldest person in the company! How did that happen so quickly!?? It was very confronting. But at least then I could use it when anyone gave me any cheek! Respect your elders!

I was thinking I might be the oldest female here - but I've just seen a newcomer - Kathymac - who is older. (PHEW!!!! Wipes sweat from brow!). Tongue Tied

How many real riding years do I have left at 53? Ten maybe? I'd better just get into it! Time keeps on slipping, slipping..... into the future!

IMHO at 53 got at least another 25 years , another question is also how long have people been riding & at what age did they start and why

A mate of Dad's bought a Burgman AN650 to replace his Yamaha touring bike at 70. As long as you can swing your leg through, keep going, Liz!

4 years and 20,000 K's later, I'm still scootering, and you guys are stuck with me!

Me i passed my motorcycle test in 69 & have had some sort of motorcycle/scooter/moped most of  the time since then . Why two wheels at 16 was what every one got as you had to be 17 to drive a car Big Smile

Lets do some maths. 53+10=63. By the time you're 63 you should have at least two scooters and two motorcycles and still be a traffic menace. I got my riders licence in 2008, and I turned 59 that year. I have to admit I've been riding motorcycles on and off since I was 20.

Lets try 63+10=73. Thats where I'm thinking.

Yep. Poor old Razoo came to see it and was very impressed. Was heading off to get back to Sydney and discuss the purchase. About 10 mins later someone rang and said they'd have it. I'm lucky I may get to ride it again - my nephew's buying it.

Phooof. Weird how you can get attached to inanimate objects, isn't it?

Well spotted LizzieC, Mr P has revealed very little of himself over the years. I'm not even sure about what scooter he rides, or if he has one at all!

this is the last known photo of the ever elusive Mr P
