Are we talking about shudder in the wheels, or in transmission?

In that case it is probably either a lose belt or dirty clutch plates. I had that on my Downtown, they cleaned the clutch and it helped. You could wait until the first service, but if it is really noticeable take it to the mechanic straight away - that's what warranty is for.

    Re: shudders

Yep, as Ferrix said.  That is exactly what warranty is for :-)     Book it in, and we can check it out.  Normally its dust in one of the clutch plates which means its not engaging consistently, and the problem disappears.

    Re: shudders

It would be shudder in the transmission. Probably the clutch not engaging or clutch is glazed over in some way. As the guys have stated this will need to be booked in and the transmission taken a look at.

they are shithouse for this, it will happen again and again

    quick fix

grab a big handful of rear brake, and full throttle it, hold for 5-10seconds

    BAM shudder gone

seriously it works, but shudder will come back so either repeat, or chuck garbage clutch in the bin and fit polini etc...

    Re: shudders

My GTS300 did this also ... 10 minute freeway (100kph) run blows the dust out but it comes back.

My ruby does this, I go on the fwy daily, wouldn't revving while holding the break burn out the clutch?

    Re: shudders

heading up to Ace today I tried reving while holding the brake & this did help with the shuddering quite a bit. Still, I would be worried about burning out the clutch if this was done too often.
