    Pete have you done anything with the Phat Arsed Wombat recently? Could you please post an update and pics? :-)

    Hi Wanda, good to know they let you out. All the phatarsedvespa developments are on the phatvespa thread. Nothing radical to report other than running a 140 pirelli gts on the rear and have 61000ks on the clock, and riding it every day rain or shine on my 50k commute and the  yellow Beastie just goes and goes. Glad you're back on line.

    Daelim NS 125: Mighty 1st scoot from Korea that punched way above its weight. Sold
    Vespa GTS 250: Modern Retro brilliance. I'll ride it til it dies.Traded in on a maxi.
    Suzuki DR650: "That Thing" Excellent Single 650 thumper chook chaser that was too tall. Sold
    Yamaha T Max: Best Maxi out there and serious canyon racer. Sold
    Triumph Bonneville: Modern Retro brilliance with the sweetest parallel twin.
    BMW F800R: The Naked Hun. Great intro into sports bikes.
    Gilera Runner FXR 180: 2 stroke scooter missile from Piaggio.
    Gilera Nexus 500. Sexy like red Italian stilettos.
    Yamaha RZ250RR: Retro Japanese 2 stroke racer.

    Ah! Silly me thought it was an old thread. I thought you had put a GTV mudguard/light on the Wombat?

    I got a gtv mudguard from a wrecker but  I never got around to painting it. I still might do it but I'm a bit concerned about what it would do to the dreaded wheel wobble. I suspect that the weight of the gtv headlight might make it more susceptible. Saying that the original mudguard I have was broken by a carpark sheriff who decided to move the phatarsedvespa one day by picking it up by the mudguard. I ended up sticking it together with roofing silicon..
