check that the battery leads are tight and clean try maybe loosening them or even take them off and clean with a small piece of emery paper or similar then put back ensure tightness....give that a go....free to do...Wink

Does the scooter have a cut off switch? Some scooters have a side-stand cutoff switch. Knowing what scooter you have might help narrow your problem down.

Thanks for the tip. I gave them a good clean and now i have power but not enough to start the bike. I will need to tighten them - Ive lost the little nuts that fit into the battery ,where the screw goes in. I tried the auto store but they didnt have any. any idea where i can buy them? The bike is a torino 125c

Waz,if you know someone that owns a battery charger try to borrow it to charge your battery....you will then know if money spent on a new battery will be worth it...

Battery connections have to be tight. Always. Tighten those battery connections right down and you'll be surprised.
