What is it that makes the Tmax so good. ?

Is it the motor. ?  Is it the frame. ? Or the forks. ? The shocks. ?

If you put the Nexus motor in it,  or BM motor would it be better like when people put the triumph motor in a Norton frame. ?

Does anyone know what really makes the Tmax the TMAX. ??

All of the above really. It's the balance of things, Yamaha could stick in a big lump of engine and go faster, but then the handling might not be so balanced, or it might get too heavy. BMW found a different balance, not necessarily a worse one but not as good for me. Tmax is taller, but so am I so that is fine.

Tmax felt better under my bum, is really what it comes down to.

    Only two more sleeps!!

    Its the Vibe.

I personally didnt like it as much as I wanted to, thats not saying its not a good bike but for me it didnt work.

Seat higher than I like, handlebars lower, distinct lack of usable storage compared to my current ride, no where to hang my manbag and if buying new, $10k more expensive.

Thats 30 cans with space to spare , havent found a bike yet that comes close to that sort of storage.

But I did like the extra power on the Tmax but is it just me or did it seem to rev high at lower speeds? Doing 60kph seemed far higher revs than my 250cc, but lower at 110kph.

I picked my Nexus up for only $5,000. There are plenty of cheap 2nd hand offerings in the quality maxi class and I reckon thats where to look if you want one.

I didn't know Hyosung made a 250cc scooter I read that the Spanish press gave it a real bagging. LOL

Looks ok but does look big for a 250 motor

No I hadnt and now that I have it does look viable.

But it still cost as much for a 10 year old one than mine did new and the 13 inch wheels to me were a bit of a turnoff.

    Hyosung make suzukis

    A burgman is a suzuki if I am not mistaken (-;

Founded in 1978 as a division of the Hyosung Group of industries, Hyosung began producing Japanese Suzukimotorcycle designs under license for the South Korean market in Changwon, South Korea in 1979.

    Hi all

Are you sure they make Burgmans. ? I do know that the Koreans have made motors, frames and all sorts for all four of the Japanese bike companys for years. But I've never herd that they had a hand in makeing the Burgmans

    I never said they did.

I don't think there bad either But I did read that someone who writes for a Spanish motorcycle mag (in the article said Spanish press)  That he or they had given hyosung 250 a terrible bagging. And before reading it I didn't have any idear a hyosung 250cc scooter was even made

That Hyosung looks good. If I wanted a big city scooter, I would consider one.

If I wanted big, I'd go motorbike but that Korean brand has been selling good bikes here after some early issues with quality.

For the record, its too early to trust my life on a Chinese scooter or motorbike and by the time I'm a believer, I will probably be too old to ride LOL.
