    Re: It's tyre time again

     Hi All

In Reference to my previous post the tyres are SAVA and not "Father".  I spoke to the dealer and he explained thet the tyre sizes are difficult to get thats why they are so expensive.  Did some checking myself and he's right no one seems to have them in any tyre brand in the size I need. Front 100/80-14 Rear 120/80-14.  Got lots pf sizes close to that but not them.  I tried 3 dealers around Sydney and they all came up with nothing.  Other sizes close to what I have but the different sizes affect the speed on the speedo and what you are doing etc.

I guess Sava are about to become your favourite tyre sometime time soon. Although the price you have been quoted is still stupid in my opinion.

You're as bad as me, you used to be so much better, that makes you worse.

Well just had a service completed and the tyres fitted.  The mechanic who is Kymcos dealer of the year in Sydney said that the tyres are extrememly hard to get in the size required.  I now have Front KENDA 48S 100/80-14 [China] and Rear SAVA MC38 MaxScoot 120/80-14 [Slovenia]  He did me a deal as I needed to get a seal in the rear replaced due to a leak so the tyres cost me F $80 & R $135 plus $55 fitting each. I guess I am a captured audience as no one else was interested in trying to source the size I needed.
