    GTS 300 headlight adjustment

I'm told my headlamp is dazzling, even on dipped beam.

The handbook refers to an adjusting screw under the headlight, but the only one I can see, a black phillips-head screw, seems to be a securing screw: clockwise it tightens up and anti-clockwise it comes out. Anyone got any ideas what I'm missing?

Haynes manual shows it as the adjuster screw located below the headlight

Adjust after checking tyre pressure  & suspension is set right on level ground with assistant sat on seat

Hmm. There's no sign of a screw there, just a hole in the plastic. I can't look inside because the front panel is in the way. Does the Haynes manual explain how to remove it?

NO the manual was printed to 2010 so either they have modified the scooter light adjustment method or your screw as fallen out hence the beam settings

I finally sussed it out. The angle of the adjusting screw, deep inside its little hole is such that you need to remove the horn cover to see what you are doing and get a screwdriver on it.
