    Upgraded

I have decided to  upgrade. The time was  right,  the  finances  was right so I have  upgraded.

I have decided that  since I owned  a  Aprilia 200  Sportcity and was very  happy with it ( preformance wise, reliability, parts)  I  decided to  stick with the  Aprilia  brand  and  bought  myself  a  (drum  roll  please)

       APRILIA SR MAX 300

I tested a few  scooters of  this size  but  decided that the Aprilia  SR MAX was  for  me. Yes it is  rather tall in  the saddle but the performance and handling make  up  for that

Apparently the SR Max is a Gilera Nexus with a Piaggio 300 motor, dodgy me would crank up the ponies with dubious performance mods, but maybe not to a brand new pricey scooter.

    Aprilia Sportcity 2006,
recently crashed badly, might replace or buy a car!

I'd love to know if you found it more comfortable than the Beverly. The Bev has other charms, like good storage and a cracker of a motor, but is a bit more exxy to buy.

i do think Piaggio need to hurry up and put that 350 motor in the Aprilia, it would make a real great machine.

The  Bev was just  out  of  my  financial  comfort  zone  so  I didn't  get to  test  it  still if  they  put the  350  in  the  Aprilia  SR Max  just think of the potential

I had a very hard look at the SR300 a couple of years back before I bought my HD200.   I found it to be super comfy and it's certainly a capable scooter.  I would even say that in terms of leg room it would give the Tmax a run for it's money.    Just lacked in grunt (obviously) to the TMax.

The looks department for me are a winner.  When Aprilia finally wise up and fit the 350 from the Bev, the SR350 I believe would sell like hotcakes.  If the price stays decent then I would have been hard pressed to go past it.

Started out with a Zip 50. Now moving on to a HD 200. Wonder what's next....?? Not wondering any more.... TMAX!!!!!!
