    VMoto Monza carb

I have noticed the metal nozzle part of the Mikuni carb (the barb) that the vaccuum hose connects to has the tiniest hole only detectable by using compressed air.  I would think it is not possible for an air vaccuum to be created to open the fuel tap with this tiny hole.  Another one I bought is the same.  Does anyone out there have a Monza carb where the vacuum barb is drilled into the inside of the carb?  How can a vacuum be created to open the fuel tap if there is only a tiny hole in it??  The hole is about the size of the oil feed hole (very small)

The small hole is all that is needed to put vacuum on the fuel valve. If the hole was bigger, the pulses from the reed vale intake could damage the fuel valve.
