Another rival to the Grom ? Benelli Tornado TNT125

The new Benelli Tornado TnT 125 has been created to win the hearts of naked bike enthusiasts searching for an urban pocket rocket. Everything about this bike just screams fun!

Its lightweight and compact design features 12-inch wheels with 120/70 and 130/70 tyres, providing great agility and stability on the road, whilst its efficient Benelli 125cc single cylinder twin spark engine develops class leading 11 hp @ 9500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque @ 7000 rpm, delivering sporty performance matched to a 5 speed gearbox.

Dynamically speaking, the TnT 125 makes light-work of road conditions with a tough suspension system matched to a trellis frame and entrusted to 35 mm diameter upside-down front forks and a rear swingarm with lateral shock absorber and spring preload adjustment. Braking is achieved by Benelli’s Combined Braking System (CBS), using a 210mm diameter disc brake up front and a 190 mm diameter single disc in the rear.Although built with performance in mind, the TnT 125 pocket rocket also adds practicality with a 7.2 litre fuel tank, an ergonomic 780 mm seat height and a range of accessories to complement the edgy Italian design. Add to this the twin exhaust outlet and LED lighting, the bike is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.

The TnT 125 is available for order now in red, white or black from your authorised Benelli dealership for just $3850 rideaway including 24 months / unlimited Km warranty and 24 months Roadside Assist nationwide.

Hmm, I recall Benelli from many years ago, reading about them in US bike mages. i recall they had a very nice English Inspired 650...the Tornado???

I'm sure that others will agree that this thing above is a Grom wannabe...i don't see too many Groms and I can't see folks shelling out  nearly $4k for this unknown especially when the basic Honda 125 bike  is so cheap....

Something tells me that this is not the original Italian company but a name that has been bought by a Chinese group
