    Realistic Value for GTS250ie

    Hi All,

It’s been a long time since I posted on the forum, and am only doing so as I need to move on from my Silver Vespa GTS 250ie. I purchased her in October 2010 from the now long closed My Scooter at Drummoyne, have had a few rides with Jax and Pete Gailey back in the early days, but in more recent times, I just find that I am not using the scooter regularly enough. Not sure what an eight year old GTS is worth, but it is registered until October, has a genuine colour matched top box and the short screen. Only done 8,000Kms too.

was thinking that $5000 would be a reasonable ask. Does this sound realistic in the current market?

    Cheers - Chris

Two years ago I sold my vintage red GTS250. It was 8 years old, and had about 60,000 km on the clock. I hoped for $5000, then had it advertised at $4000 for several months, and finally sold it for $3500.

Yours has a much lower mileage, and if it is all standard you might get a better price, but don't be too optimistic.

    Good luck. Mike
