    200 to 300 choices

So after 4 months on the little 163cc 8kw Like 200i I have developed a appetite for something just a little racier around town.

90%of my rides are 5-10minutes trips around town so I think something like a BV350 while really nice would be a bit of overkill.

I'm thinking I should sti k to small as possible so the GTS 200/250/300 and TT200 are candidates. Doesn't appear to be a whole lot more around that's gonna shift my 6ft2in 90kg frame quickly.

I'll just add that if you search sub 250cc Road bikes in a search for Scooters you have to really want a scooter with the much better value offered by many road bikes. Especially when 250cc scooters are up around 9-10k.

    Previously - RZ250R, VT250F, VF1000FF, DL650
    Now- Kymco Like 200i

The issue for you will be around your build. At 5'10" myself I feel that I max out on many scooters. Mostly this is related to the saddle, with scallop design.

The GTS range of scooters provide, for me, a comfortable seat over increased distance. I was interested in the GTS 150 IGET (11kw), but did not like their colours. You might be comfortable on the new Honda SH 150 (10.8kw) - currently available at reduced pricing. But I would also be looking at a Suzuki Burgman 200 (13.5kw) to see if that is a comfortable fit. It is a punchy (real) 200. If you looked I think you might pick up a 2nd hand bargain

...on reflection I did not exactly stick to the brief. Compact, comfortable and 200 - 300cc would be a Vespa GTS250 or 300. I would ...

    Brett 69...

I'd stay away from very small wheels (8-10inch) when choosing - there isn't much of a rubber footprint to them.

I own an Aprilia Scarabeo 250ie. I'm 6ft and 92kg. I've had it for eight years, and I'd buy another one, if they weren't discontinued. Large diameter wheels, Quasar engine, lots of storage, more than adequate get-up-and-go....Still ticks every box for me. Maybe look at a Piaggio Beverly?
