    Fast scooter racing from Malaysia

This looks like a one-make series from Malaysia- not sure what they are riding, but they are seriously quick.  They don't look like 50cc.

look for the overtaking at 2min12sec - and watch the dude in red almost recover when he gets his front wheel hit.......awesome stuff.

OMFG ! Sprayed coffee all over the place ! when that dude got his front wheel clipped is the funniest thing I've seen, every time I replayed it { at least 5 times } it got funnier and funnier!  my wife thought I'd lost the plot I was laughing so much, I needed a laugh I've had such a crap day at work, the foreign language just added to it....LOL

Geez, they're not shy about changing lines.  One of the lapped bikes looked like a postie bike.

I noticed the No 4 bike had a Yamaha sticker on it,  so I found the Yamaha Malaysia website, and it seems they have a special class of racing for the "Yamaha Moped 135LC".      That Video Clip seems to be from the Yamaha Moped 135LC Asean Cup series.     Note: they call it a moped !!

    Minimum Ground Clearance:   140 mm

    Dry weight/ Curb weight105 kg

    Fuel oil capacity:   4.0 litres

Clutch type:   Multiple Disk, centrifugal automatic

    Transmission:   4-speed Rotating

just don't tell out dutch friend......

so it's a chain driven scooter judging by the photo....

i was really impressed by the speed, and the "aggression" of the riders. They were really going hard.

and Flash....I had a similar reaction the first time i watched it too.....I didn't spit my coffee, but i did have to watch that stack over and over.....and couldn't resist freezing it as he went up on the front wheel, he was so lucky he didn't go right over the front......

Did anyone see what looked like a bump start by one of the "retirees".

Hey ROB, just caught your comment on a bump start i will try it next year i have already made a locking device to eliminate the clutch and remove it all together, once you are running there is no need to have a clutch on a track and i think it will be cool to try on a practice night, the clutch is included as flywheel mass and to remove it as a test should be fun, will post photos if it comes off.

sounds  like fun........I've often wondered about a direct chain drive like the karts do.
