 It seems my brand new mp3 250 is not charging the battery when it runs. This is being fixed by the guys at Motorworks in Hobart who where fantastic. I was wondering though if this was a common problem. So far I have not been able to find any mention anywhere of anyone else having this problem.

I have to put a plug in for the guys at Motorworks here as Larry came out to my place after closing on Saturday to take a look see and after thinking he had fixed it and taking it on a test run he had to push it up a none too gentle slope. He is also picking it up Monday am and says he can have it back in the arvo. Top service!

 Larry is a good mate of mine so say Hi for me. Havent heard of this before but would think it would run the same charge system as other X8 250 cc scooters.

Larry has sent it to an auto electrician to try and work it out. Pushing it up a hill can't have been very pleasant. I always get very good service from the guys at Motorworks and am confident they'll get it going right. I haven't been able to find any one else with the same problem on any of the forums for mp3s so I'm confident it's a one  off kind of thing and will be worked out. 

The latest is that a short caused a fuse to blow. Replacement of the fuse resulted in it blowing again. At present the hunt is on for why. 

 Got the pod back this am. Larry dropped it off about 8:45, bless him. I have just got home again. *** this machine likes the twisties!!
