I ride Doc with my feet in that position too. For me, two main reasons:

    * Doc's suspension is pretty firm for Sydney roads, so with my feet like that it is much easier to stand up when going over bumpy bits

    * I like to make slight adjustments in lean by pushing down using my foot, again much easier to do using that sort of foot positioning.

The rider of the PCX may very well have a completely different set of reasons for riding that way.

    Ride safe.

    Ride safe.

I ride my GTS using the pillion pegs when doing very long runs , i find it takes the strain off my lower back  , did a 650km ride over 2 days a couple of weeks ago & by 250kms my back started whinging so i flipped out the pegs & presto comfort was restored.

Red ones always go faster but blue ones go pretty quick , but now blue ones are the way to go😄

Its absolutely brilliant over here, great twisty roads, good hills, reasonable bitumen, and less than expected traffic.. Pity my scoot has a bald rear tyre, and pretty well no back brake til I tightened up the cable, still at the speed it goes you could almost jump off and run beside it but who cares, its still heaps good fun.

Lovely pictures Pete, as usual. What's the max number of people you have seen on a scooter. My partner Ros saw 5 on a scooter in Vietnam, one was a baby in a bucket though.

Those side cars are a real work of art, all made from reo bar and then see what they carry in them.

There was a guy that called into a shop opposite my hotel in Kata Beach every day with one and he must have had several hundred kilos on board. He had ice, 9kg gas bottles, slabs of of bottled water, cases of beer and also those big water bottles they have in water coolers.

Have to admit though, the thing that impressed me the most was the electricity supply, how the hell does it work?

You're as bad as me, you used to be so much better, that makes you worse.

This is my best yet Phil. We should build one of these sidecars mate. Last night I saw a scoot towing two jet skis. Some more of the same.

Loving all the pics. Sounds like you are having a great time.

Nice to see some scoots that are dirtier than mine!

That last photo made me laugh and the one of the BMW scoot just looks so out of place.

    Ride safe.
