Re: Sydney "We Ride COZ We Can" SUN 22/12/13 Test Rides

    petegailey:

    Loose Change:
    "free wheel into pits",
    I think Cam's making a joke.

    Actually, I wasn't joking.

Back in the mists of antiquity, marchalling at Oran Park, a mate explained the plug chop business.

It was easier to do it at Oran Park, because of the uphill nature of the track, on the straight after BP bend.

At Amaroo, it was harder, 'cos you had Stop corner then only a wee bit of track before the pit entrance.

    petegailey:

And thanks Cam, I'll take the sprockets. Ill let you know when Im heading back out again, probably after double demerits is over.

Seems fair. When I still could, I'd usually ride the Z50 when double fly-buys were on offer.

I did get stopped yesterday, on the Gilera, for a breath test, cops seemed amused when I told him, yeah, I was still breathing. Smile

BTW, Eccles, your new bike looks, to me, so much nicer than the one I had for test ride. It was the Classic thingy with wire wheels and white stripes which really didn't look as good as yours.

Maybe, if they had waved one like yours, I might have been more tempted.

Warning: Posting may contain traces of sarcasm and/or nuts.

    regards, CrazyCam

    Eccles:

Well so Santa did turn up at my work a little early, dropped off the Roadster,

Do you think Santa has another one to put under my tree????? Hope he does!!

Have a safe Xmas and holidays everyone.

Life without a Tmax is possible, but would almost be useless…

Re: Sydney "We Ride COZ We Can" Great day for riding in Sydney

Jeez, Santa didn't keep the C650Gt for long....Indifferent, what a scooter nut 'e is.

Anyways, twas a great day for riding in Sydney, the rain and clouds cleared away to reveal a beautiful afternoon. As I had a job to do, and that job was ride (bike has to be run in by Saturday first thing for it's first service) set off just before midday into a pleasant balmy day..

Benny88 & I where hard at work bottling up the old road for a first stop at Broke, where we both had to stop for fluids. Then continued on to the Putty Rd.

Stopped again at Grey Gums cafe for coffee, cake and a chat about where the constabulary have been.

Saw this, the right colour for future Pete, The owner reckonned it went as fast in reverse as it did forwards Surprise i.e not much..

Sallied on back home through Windsor and Annangrove for a total of 375K's of georgous riding. Amazingly I probably had to pass 4 cars and one gaggle of peddlers, otherwise had the road going my way all to myself. And double bonus, got home with all points still intact.

780K's on the clock now, that'll do for Saturdays appointment.
