t looks like Coz We Can is returning from the dark side and going
maxi. With Eccles on his series of BMW C Series 650's, me trading
phatVespa for a Gillera Nexus 500, then White Fang bags himself a new
Yamaha TMax 530. Now the Priest sells his Gixa sportsbike and has bought
a 2012 Burgman 650. If we had someone turn up with an Aprilia SVR 850
(Jax?) then we'd have all bases covered. With a German,an Italian and
two Japs just dont mention the war!
These maxis are great on the open road, they accelerate up hills, can
overtake quickly, fast off from the lights, reasonable to excellent
suspension and brakes... and they handle very well when ridden hard. Top
speed 160 plus k/h. When you see the ease that Eccles blows off sports
bikes it becomes clear that they're performance machines in sheeps
clothing. Im sure there'll be some interesting "comparison tests" on
