I like that concept,  pity they are in the USA,  at US$19.99 plus postage,  they would be a bit expensive for what they are.........

there was a discussion ages ago about cup holders,  do a search on this site and you might find it.  I seem to remember there was a cup holder that clipped on the the Vespa glove box lid...... it might have been Dozer that wanted one or had bought one.

Never the less,  "your cup holder" is the best I've seen for a scoot !

Maybe you could fashion one with some thick foam from Clark Rubber and an electric carving knife... however, couldn't the bevvy get a petrolly taste if you had a spill filling up at an earlier time? I'd want something out in front of me, so I could sip at the lights (open faced)

yeah... that's a good point, but i usually go in my cage, down to the cofffeeeeeee shop, grab a coffee and cruise off to work - have a sip on the way, but that's about all there is time for - just a sip...plus my boss and i take turns in the coffeeeeee run so would be good to keep up the tradition and this one holds two which i like also.....

LOL - that is GOLD.... i like your thinking and my boyfriend thought the same, but didn't come up with the carving knife idea.......

I used to work for an upholstery company and they used a hand-held electric saw that was similar to an electric carving knife to cut the foam.

    ROFL  Cool

I was the accountant there,  not an upholsterer.

But hmmmm you've got me thinking, I do have reasonable handyman skills, I have seen how the professionals work with foam,  so I might get some foam and have a "play around" with the concept over the Christmas break.

    Re: Vespa Cup Holder

I know it's not a Vespa, but the left hand side of the Fly's glovebox can take a large size take away cappuccino and carry it as far as a want without spillage. It sits in the recess without moving around - as far as I can tell.

Only problem is opening the glovebox and drinking the coffee with gloves and a helmet on when stopped at the lights!

why don't you just drink the coffee first before riding the scooter? then you can enjoy the ride after having a great coffee

    Re: Vespa Cup Holder

Good point - I usually grab a take away and let it cool a bit before I drink it. I have a great coffee shop down the road from me and they make it just the way I like, if I am working from home I often take a 5 min break to go an grab a cup - it also gives me an excuse to take the scooter out for a short run!

By the time I get back the coffee is just right and I can continue working.
