thanks, that seems very low though, theres someone on ebay selling a high performance piston kit for it, claims power output will be 15hp!

15hp is not much from a 100cc two stroke.  its a compromise regarding fuel consumption, emmissions and engine life.  The standard engine has low power to help keep fuel useage low and life high.

thanks. but i doubt it would go from 6hp to 15hp, that is a huge increase just for a piston,

in any case how much oil is in the reservoir when the oil light comes on? or how many km to go?

    bye and thanks

    Re: Yamaha YW100 BeeWee

    Heyy everyone.

I've recently bought my own Beewee and so far I'm loving it.

However as it's second hand, the body isn't 100%, so I'm looking for some new parts to replace broken ones so I can get a Roadworthy. I've tried Google and only come up with new styling bits that I'm not sure will fit or not. I'm looking for factory replacements for assurance in fit and functionality.

Is anyone able to point me in the direction I'm after for OEM replacement parts for my yw100 scooter? I'm located in AUS too.

    Cheers in advance.

OEM might be able to be ordered through Yamaha dealers, but be warned, they will be pricey.

4 years and 20,000 K's later, I'm still scootering, and you guys are stuck with me!

That's alright, man. I found something that's even better, it gets rid of the pod indicators and replaces the reflector lights instead which looks 1000x better. I'll post up when they are delivered
