Your bike already had a 70kit in it?

2T oil was not added to the fuel?

My guess, it simply wore itself out ..

Even with the autolube cranked up fully, this would not have been enough for a 70 IMO.

The wrist pin is 10mm on my Bandits.

Cheers RP. I will definitely try to learn as much as I can, mechanically. I'll leave this install/tune to the mechanic though.

Is there any way I can get the oil to pre-mix at a larger volume? Bigger carb?

The autolube is linked to the throttle cable.  Somewhere behind the glovebox & the bodywork the cable is split into 2 lines from the throttle cable.  One part goes to the carby, & the other goes to the autolube shown below.

That pic is from the "How To" link I previously posted.

The autolube is bottom left there with the hose going to it from the oil reservoir, & the cable going to it which can be adjusted.  When I was using that with 70kit I set mine to = max when the throttle is at max, but I think it still wasn't enough.

Which is why I went premix.

You'd be better off buying yourself a Gregory's Scooter Manual which covers the regular types of scoots out there.

    Cheers RP.

So, what is the best method to premix (and what ratio?).

I have a large 20 litre fuel container. Do I just fill that up and add a litre or whatever of synthetic oil and shake it around a bit? Or just have some oil in the top-box and chuck a little in each time I fill up the scooter?
