    gmax seat height

    Hi all,

I'm new to scootering and have found this site (and the previous one, scootersales) fantastic for info. That being said, I have a question and would love some help.

I've had a gmax 250 for about 6 months and I'm really short. I've gotten used to the weight and balance, and find it no problem now to sit at lights with only 1 foot on the ground. But, if ayone knows if I can lower the seat height, suspension adjustments etc, please let me know.

You could lower the seat height by adjusting the suspension but then you will scrape more than ever when you go around corners.  The centre stand sits a lot lower on the 250 than the 150.

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  If you were riding a sports bike or motor bike, you would only have one foot on the ground at lights, the other would be on the foot peg applying the rear brake.

R4VI has a Gmax with a seat that has been modified by its previous & shorter rider. Send him a personal message & a clean swap could sort out two peoples problems very cheaply

I hope you enjoy your Gmax as much as I do

gmaxgrl, if you would like to email or PM me, maybe we can work something out.  I don't suppose you are in Brisbane?

    Thanks guys.

Yep, ScooterHQ, I do love the gmax, wouldn't swap for anything else, even though he's a bit tall for me. I have no problem riding, stopping and all, but it would be nice to walk it backards whilst sitting on it. Make parking easier.

rv4i, I'm in melbourne. I'll contact you for more details.

Hey Dakoda, I keep telling everyone that I'm waiting for my growth spurt, but they don't believe me anymore.

I kept saying that too, but now at 32, I tell people, its the rain that makes me short, I shrink in the wet!  That excuse is starting to not fly now with the Qld drought though.

If all else fails. go with the old an trusted "Good things come in small packages"
