    LML/Stella 4 stroke

Looks like they are putting a 4 stroke engine in to the Indian PX Vespa clone . I wonder if this as a better chance of making it to Australia

I'm sure the purest than pure purists won't touch it but I might start saving my pennies, just incase... It might even be worth redoing the test to ride that beauty.

Given the slightly different construction I wonder how the handling will compare? Is the engine still all on one side?

Scooternut  If i remember right a article i read a while back stated LML actually converted one of there 2strokes to a 4stroke . So i imagine the handling will be pretty similar to a Vespa PX200

LML are already available in Australia- lmlaustralia.com

Their website says they are currently complying the four-stroke for sale here. A quick 'who-is' and 'RVCS' search reveals it is Jase at Gasoline bringing them in.

And I'll bet that City Skoots will have them priced more reasonably than Gasoline....!

Well, if the importer is Gasoline - then no, the price increase is in the middleman, not at the retail level. The Belladonna is stil NZ$4300 + orc, in New Zealand - which if translated to AUD, is about $4000 - which is what the previousimporter priced the retail at. So in this time of high Australian Dollar - what is the other $1000 that LML Australia want for this shipment for?

Well, you can't really compare the US & UK markets to be fair. Volumes and shipping distances place a big part of this. NZ has a much smaller market yet, they are much cheaper over there.

Let's just say I believe that Gasoline sell their scooters at the upper end of the market, often to people who are unaware of exactly what they are getting and the general pricing of vintage scooters.
