    Got it. phatVespa outside the Vespa cafe in Gladesville. Had to park in a bloody bus stop to get the pic.

    Whats that meant to imply---- Does it mean that now its SPRING that everyone should get out of their houses and ride ride ride

    Cos it wont happen cos Mr weatherman will send some big black clouds which will dump gallons of water all over us

    Ho ho, very funny, Pyrah. It's my perpetual gripe about posting pics. Try this one (I clicked options, I clicked add/update, I clicked Choose File, I chose  file and resized it to 107kb, I clicked save and waited until the window disappeared) But I cannot see it on Preview. Is it there or not?:

    Bear in mind that, being 1969, the numbers on the sign would have been miles not kilometres. PS the abbreviation for kilometres (plural) is km. As I keep saying to anyone who will listen, klm is a Dutch airline: klms are several Dutch airlines.

     

    The CBR is rather lovely, although I doubt its ability to ride from SA to WA. Hmm, dunno why I wrote that: some friends in WA from yonks back rode round the world two up on a Suzi TS125

    Yep but i rode from Laverton WA to Mildura Vic took 5 days on this Yamaha DT 175 in 1999
