You were lucky I didn't steal it. Made me remember what a good commuter a quality 125 is.

How did you manage to take your photo? Helmet cam?

I have to insist that you post a pic of you on the scoot as soon as you get it! Ask the dealer to take a pic.

    Please! Thankyou Smile

It looks like this Honda scooter will do almost as well as the Lead. Maybe it will be voted 125cc scooter of the year.  Now as for shoving a 300cc into it, well just buy a Derbi.

Storm [st] Nice Weather for Ducks..

ok, Nutters this one is for you.

The weather is truely awful today in Brisbane.  So I was so nervous riding home.  But the PCX handles like a dream.

I was trying to take it easy, and watching the speedo hit 80, I was thinking it might be reading wrong, but NO, my driver behind assured me I was travelling an average of 70 - 80.

I can't wait for clear weather to hit the road again.

geez but that's a sexy scoot. Can't wait to read more as you experience more of what the PCX has to offer. I bet you'll be grinning for a long time to come. Big Smile

Well done getting home safely despite the wet weather too! Don't know that I would want to take a brand new scooter, with brand new tyres, home in the wet. Would want to scrub the tyres a little first. Good job! Yes

I wonder if the looks of the PCX will confuse the cagers into thinking it's a motorbike? Would be interesting to know if they give you any more respect on the road than when you're on something that is more obviously a scooter.

Yes, I wouldn't have wanted to ride home in the weather today either.

Tell me, what was the on road coast?

$5300 + insurance ($280 NRMA).  it had to be registered as a duel seater, which I took for 12 months.  dealers charges where more than I expected.  Still I am really happy with it.

Looks great Rach. This is a good reason to organise a scooter ride so we can check it out. Hopefully we will get to see an x-hot as well

Wow! I didn't expect it to end up costing that much. The MLP was quoted as $3,990. How much was the two seater rego? Stamp duty would be about $80 I think? The dealer must have wacked on a fiar bit. What a pity!

Eh? I thought dealers legally HAD to give you an on road price before the sale? Certainly advertise the on road, rideaway, price. They certainly do here in WA, although it's a change that only happened about 6 months ago, surely it's the same for other states?
