    vs125 fuel problems?

on advice by my local scooter dealer i bought and replaced my fuel pump, which he said was probaly the reason for my fuel problems.the fuel filter was tested and appeared to have no restrictions.the scooter continiuned to hunt for fuel until it stopped period.now after replacing it still won't go.tomorrow i'm going to buy a new spark plug,a new fuel filter.hoping these will solve the problem.the scooter has done 14,000 klm's.it has been a joy to run around on,however, many motor bikes in past times never had these  problems as such.short memory helps.so what do i do?bye for now, blowfly

Give it a few kicks, and then check the plug - if the spark plug is wet, your problem isn't the spark plug.

Had the scooter been left standing unused for a  time so that there could gumming in the carburetor or maybe could be a carburetor float problem
