    Scooter sluggish when started

I recently changed the exhaust on my 50cc. Unfortunately now it seems that when first starting the scooter cold, something is stopping it from reaching higher revs and is trundling and is gutless until it starts to move, when I have driven 200m or so its fine. Not quite sure why this would be, the oil tank is quite filled up so possibly a mixture problem? If you can't already tell I'm clueless on the mechanics of it all so any help or direction would be more than appreciated.
    Cheers.

I don't know 2-strokes, but maybe there's not enough air pressure in the exhaust to run properly... My advice to the self-confessed clueless is usually to leave it as it left the factory - those guys knew what they were on about.

4 years and 20,000 K's later, I'm still scootering, and you guys are stuck with me!
