On Any Sunday sequel - YAWN

"On Any Sunday - the Next Chapter".

The original classic, iconic movie was directed by Bruce Brown and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary.

This wannabe rehash was directed by Bruce's son Dana and it was not a patch on the original. It could have been retitled "The Red Bull Promo for American centric motorcycle racing" it was so biased towards competition and riders sponsored by Red Bull.

There was one token woman, one token Vespa, one token non-racing charity in Africa and some bloody excellent racing/ crashing/ thrill-seeking footage.

Overall - 2 stars for the cinematography but if you want to see a better, more balanced movie, go and see "Why We Ride".

I downloaded the original 'On any sunday' many moons ago and still haven't gotten around to watching it.

Watch it,it won't have the same bang it had when it was first released but it was made by people who enjoyed what they were doing and it shines right through.

    Still worth the watch.
