I don't think you can point the finger at Honda Rod. This would be a dealer tactic to 'capture' interest over their compeditors. Checking the site against their Suzuki offerings also reveals the same sales tactic  --- buyer beware

Swung past Scooterworld today to see if the SH had arrived. No sign yet, so Darryl was right to say possibly April.  Boy oh boy have they got some stock. I'm told there is more in the warehouse. I bet the dealers hate all this rain before the onset of season change.

... at 122kg dry weight it is light for its size. But it is only 8.2kw, which is a bit pissy for this capacity. So I asked myself - is it old school technology; will it be an inspiring ride; will I feel passionate about it? The answer is blowing in the wind ....

A girl rode away from Scooteria on Saturday on her brand new white Sym Symphony ST 200.  A better looking scooter I think, but again only 8.8kw. It doesn't state but I think it might be aspirated over injected.

Then there is the ongoing debate of Kymco vs Sym, for all the things that matter.

yeah, yr right, asps, ...not a great deal of power. still n' all, if she was a 1st timer, a white scoot of that configuration could be a good thing for her.

it does look quite nice, rather like the older SH150

Not 100% sure but think the Symphony range is made in China thus a 2 year warranty whereas other SYM scoots are assembled/made in Taiwan & come with a 4 year warranty.

Re: Hello 2017 Honda SH 150i

I think this model has a 4 year warranty, which would suggest that it is not a Chinese build. And to think Honda only have confidence to over a 12 month warranty for a comparison scooter. Honda place a lot of stock in their brand name - Honda
