    Scooter of the Year 17

Bikesales have awarded the Vespa Primavera 150 iget Scooter of the Year 2017. Now you would think then that they would be smart enough to post a main photo of the correct model with the 12" wheels and not the old 11" wheel model - and that wasn't even the i get. It's a worry.

Thank you pyrah for the update

And aspro  for the information  even though I dont agree with that , I do like it a lot but I dont think a 150 should be scooter of the year

I dont think it does enough to earn that

Thanks Pyrah. I don't think there is a single photographic representation inclusive with this nomination that shows the actual, in their view, 17 winner - 150 i get ABS. When scooters make up much of their commercial sales site profile you would think that greater care would be taken. Or am I just being 'picky'?  Also, looked for a more comprehensive report detailing a basis for decision making ...... honourable mention Honda PCX150; BMW 650GT.

With the 300cc motorcycle class gaining more depth by the month, and in my opinion pinching scooter sales, (more) quality reporting and accuracy is required to bolster the scooter segment of the market.

I miss our guys at Scooter Community with their ride reports and profiling.

Don't think you are 'being picky' here, seems like they're just being lazy & uninterested---"yeah,give it to Vespa,What? Wrong photo? Don't matter, who cares".

It has something to do with the scooter having been on sale to the public for a number of preceeding months. I guess the GTS 150 iget didn't qualify here.

What is interesting, though, is that there are very few examples of the latest generation Prim & Sprint (new style body) that come back pre-loved onto the market. Set this against the stats that claim them to be a popular seller. The reasons being ......

A Saturday ride had me whirling past Racecourse Motors and Scooteria. Are they crammed with Vespa stock! Bring on the summer. RM had two Sprint in similar livery to the Sprint Adventure, but one in matte yellow, one in matte silver. The silver one reminded me of my Silversheen touch-up years. The new importer is becoming adventurous.

If you are as good on the bike Pyrah as you are with the computer would you kindly have the kettle boiled and the tea drawn when I arrive. I just hope it doesn't go cold beforehand. LOL
