    Chrome on Dozers Scooter

I ordered some chrome protection bars for my GT200 on Thursday, and they arrived on Friday. Very quick.

I installed them in about 30 mins this evening, and must say I'm pleased with the extra chrome look.

They are FACO brand, and there's a few other accessories that they have which I will now look into as I think it looks BLING!!!!

The rear chrome crash bars will help with runaway shopping trolleys and the like.

I notice your screen. I have been tempted to pick one up. What are your impressions of it screen v's no screen. Perth is a windy old place.

I can say that I had my reservations, but never looked back. It deflects the wind off my chest and into my helmet visor. In the rain, it throws the rain too, so your upper chest stays dryer. I didn't want to go for the taller ones, It's not my taste, but the little flyscreen looks cool too. I'd recommend you get one. I originally thought I'd remove it until winter months, but love it on the scooter all the time.

I've looked at the chrome front rack from either piaggio of FACO, but am still not sure. I have a Chrome badge wing coming from the USA, along with a chome fork cover. chrome chrome chrome, I love it. Big Smile

Subtle, a lot of chrome nudge-bars look a bit over-the-top sometimes (like this HK device below). Nice. Are the top-box lites wired?

Your chrome looks so good, I've been thinking of getting some for my GT 200 and a front luggage rack, which I think is removable if you're not going on a trip.  You may have made up my mind for me.  Good riding.

I've got some on order - should be here next week.  They are really good, and much better than the full size ones.  On the fender chromework, I would definitely stick to the original Vespa rather than the Faco, but they are hard to get hold of.  Otherwise the Faco stuff is good value.

    Your bling looks good Doze.

I did some research steve, and some of the original chrome bars from piaggio dont fit that well. The FACO stuff is OK, but there was an issue of these bars bracket rubbing on the coolant hose near the engine. I've checked, and mines fine, I think they have rectified the problem.

I'm pretty happy with it, and prefer it to the big piaggio ones.
