my 5 cents worth .... My italjet 180 Dragster - (ported mallossi 172 barrel and 28mm flatslide carb with jolly motor pipe, rollers, clutch, dyno tuned etc etc blah blah blah)

Off the lights it will keep to the door of a chipped CV8 Monaro, driven as hard as it will go, all the way to 80kmh. and will chase it up to 140kmh.

     I like your style, R1hoon.

And were you making love on the scooter at the same time?

A scarabeo 500ie with a j costa variator fitted will do the trick just nicely.Big Smile

Scarabeo 500ie. J costa variator, Giannelli Exhaust, Malossi Cam, Dr Pulley Clutch, and SX appeal cup holder. GONE

Bought a ducati, missed scootering so now riding a Vespa 300 super. Polini variator, PM tuning exhaust, Malossi clutch springs jettin bar ends with mirrors, heated grips and still an SX appeal cup holder.

To satisfy curiousity, a Burgman 650 will beat many V8s off from the lights and most times will still be in front a kilometer later. I think I have only used the 'power' mode  a couple of times, as it's not usually neccesary. Wink

What I want to know is does it also have a "Hot & Steamy" mode?

I thought your cast was off and these comments had a chance of stopping ColdCola? Huh?

But Scott these questions & comments he's raising are mostly fairly valid & are things that some might be too afraid to ask at the risk of looking silly. Atleast Coldcola has an excuse. Or atleast he did. Wink

No, I am now resigned to the fact that I cannot persuade the wife so want the whole topic dropped from now on.

    Thanks Indifferent

A Geopolis 400 can beat a Golf R32 manual to about 60 or so. In fairness to the Golf, it sounded fantastic to the left and a bit behind.

+1 to that statement. I had one of these as a company bike when I worked at Suzuki. Red traffic light, V8 next to you, stick it in power mode and when the lights change crack the throttle wide open right to the throttle stop. A burgman in 'power' mode can even give most sports bike a run for their money off the line.
