    Scootech or Clubshed...

My Monaco is having an unscheduled rest (the issues are posted on another thread) but I have been unable to restore life to the little creature despite many hours working on it.

I have to seek pro help unfortunately (way off budget for now) but if I can get back on the road it is worth it.

Clubshed and Scootech have dropped flyers on the scoot over time, any preferences out there (or horror stories)?  They do mobile repairs and seem affordable (getting off the unreliable bus is the priority) but I need somebody who will get me back on the road.

Any info would be great, otherwise I'll do pot luck during the week and cross the fingers.

I have used Clubshed on several occasions and found them to be courtesy and punctual. Peter knows what he is talking about and has always done a quick professional job on both my scoots.

I haven't used Scootech so I can't comment. Big Smile

I guess I'll be the guinea pig for Scootech then, my wheels were whisked away in the white Hi-Ace this afternoon.

Time will tell, thank for the reply Jax.

I'm back on the road thanks to Scootech.  Turns out it was a dodgy HT coil that was rendering the scoot useless.  Must say that Scootech provided an excellent service, away one day and delivered the next day.  Everything happened on time and I was kept informed of the progress, never had that before from a mechanic service.  It blew the budget for the month but the bike is working...the kids don't need to eat food for a few weeks!
