Hi all,
It's with a great deal of sadness, and a heavy heart, that I must announce the end of The Scooter Shop Launceston.
I have blogged about it here if anyone can be bothered reading my long-winded rhetoric...
It's been a shocking year or two for the trade, and no doubt we wont be the last to fall, which is a crying shame. It's ...
Excuse my ignorance but what is meant by reserve? Is this a separate tank? The manual states fuel capacity as 9.6l and reserve at 2.2l.
No need to be excused. It's a term that is commonly used, but seldom explained. Have a look at my rough 'publisher' picture below- it should explain fairly clearly ...

Supposedly the reserve is 2.2L. And although the tech info doesn't explain it exactly, you would assume that the flashing bar means you've just hit the reserve. Like Nikko said, expect about 30km or so before you splutter to a halt. But try and keep your tank topped up, don't run it out of juice, or you'll suck the gunk through ...

In the same way the dimples on a golf ball create eddy currents that bring stability to it's flight. But then, if the surface is too coarse- like a really rough casting, then the turbulence would be much greater, and would ...

The parts didn't go missing- Mojo Motorcycles bought up what was left. They're not taking on or resurrecting the whole Peugeot thing, but they do have boxes and boxes of new spares, and I'm sure they would have plenty of the common things like exhaust gaskets.
Give them a buzz, and they'll be able to tell you which local dealer ...
Will just hit them with the sandblaster after this to get a uniform finish on all the ports i dont want them in a polished state
Why? I thought polishing ports was the go..?

Seems to be the done thing recently, to jump in a day or two (or three) early to send a birthday wish. So I thought I'd get in first...
Merry Birthday Dak, hope it's a good one. You'll be looking to upgrade your Beo to something that better suits the midlife crisis soon.
Eat plenty of M&M's, drink plenty of beer and enjoy ...
