• Re: I do not need this sh*t....
Scott. Was the lane only for making a left turn or one where you can go straight on as well?
Arrow on the road indicates turn left and straight ahead. Thanks for the support guys and gals. My biggest worry was that I knew there were at least 4 in the car because the 3 doors that opened did not include ...
  • I do not need this sh*t....

On my way home last night, usual route. About 5.30pm and it is dark by now and I pull up at a set of lights that has 2 lanes at the intersection. Now the left hand lane has a left turn arrow but there are always cars going straight ahead so the following cars often just have to wait for the full green to go.  This happens all of the ...
  • Re: Vespa GTS250ie Advert.... Still not quite finished, but need comments.

Not bad at all Doze. I stopped it just before the end when the rider goes around the corner and caught the grin on his face.  Now that would be a great frame to hold to end the ad

  • Re: Who wears a hi-vis vest when riding & why?

I do not bother in Summer as I do not do a lot of night riding but I have "obtained" a new jacket for winter. Work helped out just like they did with the boots http://www.brahmaindustrial.com/BrahmaProd.php?id=14 It is waterproof and I got a big one that goes over the DriRider no problem at all.  It is not stiff like some ...
  • Re: Scooter Magazine

Having read over the whole of this thread, it appears to me that it is part economic decision, part lack of subscribers (for whatever reason) so therefore, a joint mag with Two Wheels, if done properly should not be dispelled and really could be the best option.  If you add GOOD scooter content to the current mag you could create a magazine ...
  • Re: SYM Orbit 125 Vs Agility 125cc
I suspect that there may be some difference in the warranty length as well.  Its one year for the Orbit. What is it for the Agility?
When I bought mine, it was 4 year , unlimited km. New model is 4 year and 40000km I think.
hey thanks, what would be ...

  • Re: Scooter riders -- coming or going?

I personally saw Scooters as a setting stone to a motorcycle but now that I am here, cannot see me spending the extra $ to upgrade from a unrestricted Auto Open to a Manual licence.  The money will be better spent on a larger scooter. There is enough of an issue for me keeping below speed limits with the 125 so I shudder to think about a ...
  • Re: SYM Orbit 125 Vs Agility 125cc

I can only advise on the Agility. Just passed 19000km since November 1, 2007 (it is a 2006 model which is not really the current one) so it is getting quite a work out. Only money spent has been services, 2 rear tyres and 1 front (only to move away from the OEM), and a new set of mirrors as the standard just are not big enough.  Biggest ...
