Take fuel and water and go for it. I don't know your fuel range so I don't know how much fuel you might need.

three-stage reducer technology is used on the rear to basically unweight the engine from the transmission Can anyone explain this goblygook? I'm going to hazard a guess the engine is frame mounted but the transmission is still sprung weight... but that's only a guess.      

I do think that if I was going to compare a road to the well known US windy roads I'd be thinking along the lines of the Oxley Hwy. There are many 'better' roads than the OPH IMO.

Cattle duffing is still very much a 'thing' in Australia.

It's the OPH  - a nothing road; a tourist drive. Sorry, but I was a regular for many years, when it was mostly a 100kph road with two overtaking sections which are now dedicated to bloody pushbikes. I've seen three people die on it and still the Leather Latte Drinkers treat it like a race track. Those idiots should have their bikes ...

I looked at it today but didn't buy (for the first time). There seems to be more and more stuff on old scooters. Am I imagining that?  I have nothing against old scooters, but they don't interest me and won't buy if that's the direction the content is taking.  

 Unless it says otherwise assume it's UK gallons... no-one but the US use US gallons.

I've popped my head up once or twice, but anyhow... I don't have a scooter, I have a Honda ST1100 which I'm talking about selling in favour of a scooter. Some niggling knee/hip issues are taking the fun out of manhandling the ST and I think a scooter would be fun. I'm thinking T-Max, but there seems to be a whole lot on the verge ...
