Aprilia Scarbeo 200ie an excellent choice than Sym HD 200i , and the Piaggio 150ie and Piaggio Liberty 150ie and actually built in Vietnam. Dared you compare the build between Sym and Aprilia , can tell you now that Aprilia Scarbeo 200ie way better build  quality than Sym HD 200i .

Piaggio fly 150ie serval intervals are every 6,000 km's first run in service is 1,000 km's , equals  to once every 12months . Piaggio fly 150ie are extremely reliable scooters . My advice would be Piaggio fly 150ie instead of the Sym , Piaggio longer service intervals . Piaggio X10 500 is in the Uk,and the pricing over the UK is around the £10,000  pounds equals to  $14,841 AUD mark, and Piaggio Urban MP3 is around the £5,649 is  $8381.59 AUD , and the Piaggio Beverly 350ie Sport Touring is around £4,390.00  equals to $6515.20 AUD is what I read in UK ...

None whatsoever in the 5 years riding a motorcycle / scooter touch wood . Not one single accident.    

Great choice , Vespa Gts 250 ie whole alot better than sym in everyway.
