  • Honda Forza MF08 belt

Hi, does anone know the part number for a 2007 MF 08 Forza drive belt. I want to order one from Japan but need the number. The current belt seems to be an aftermarket belt. I thought I would try here before I annoy a Honda dealer.   Thanks Robert

  • Re: Honda Forza excessive engine vibration

Thanks for responding Allan. I took the belt cover off to have a look. The clutch bell is burnt blue and the pads sound like they are scraping but not engaging the wheel at idle. When revved the clutch engages as it should but the scraping sounds louder as it disengages. It is also jerky at around 40 going through school zones. I suspect my ...

  • Honda Forza excessive engine vibration

Hi, I just bought a 2007 Honda Forza with 25000km on the clock. On the first couple of rides there was a mild vibration which was more than my old Forza with 86000km on it but was within reason. Since then over 100km of riding it has been getting worse and now it is uncomfortable to ride at any speed, the vibration is so bad. It feels like the ...

  • Wrong size rear tyre fitted to Honda Forza

Yesterday I bought a second hand Honda Forza. After reading the manual this morning I found the rear tyre is wrong. It has a vee rubber 110/90 12. It should be 120/70 12. The previous owner said it was new . Should I fit the proper size now or wear out the current one. If it is dangerous I will get a new one. Thanks, Robert

  • Re: Daelim NS 125 speed

I was in Japan recently and saw lots of customised cygnuses. There are so many aftermarket goodies for them over there. I would like one.
  • Daelim NS 125 speed

I checked the speed of my NS 125 using GPS today and am a little disappointed. The speedo is optomistic as I suspected as traffic usually travels faster than me. 80kp/h is really 70, 90 is 80 and 100 is 90. The top indicated speed I can get is 105 so I guess that is a little over 90kp/h. So in reality traveling at a real 70kp/h is great, 80 ...
  • Re: NS 125 autoby fell off.

I checked the choke last night and it wasn't in properly. It is now ,but the O ring had stretched a little and it took a little poking to get in. Now the Daelim is going ok but is making a new sound when I come off throttle. It is a little tsh tsh sound and it is coming from the exhaust side of the bike. From 90kp/h it might tsh two or three ...

  • Re: NS 125 autoby fell off.

Yes, it is the autochoke. The workshop manual I downloaded calls it an autoby and the mechanic that tried to fix a previous starting problem also called it that. I had never heard that term before and thought that it must be the correct term these days. Come to think of it the mechanic borrowed the manual from me so maybe he picked the term ...

  • NS 125 autoby fell off.

The other day the autoby fell off my NS 125. I noticed something was wrong when I pulled up and it would hardly idle. I adjusted the idle through the access hole and then noticed the autoby hanging off. The retaining bracket was lost. I made a new bracket from a bit of pc circuit board (all I had to use) and got it back together. Now it ...
