• Re: Did we all back a winner?

I know of too much psycotic cruelty towards horses and humans to put even a cent towards the racing industry... :/

  • Re: AUSTRALIAS BEST RIDES

I've figured out my vote for 'best ride' would be... "any unpopulated housing development". :) ...no traffic, no speeding, brand-new high-quality (and usually very clean) roads, lots of turns (even in the lane..). Many of them are in hilly areas as developers fight over the remaining scraps of land, so the trottle gets used ...

  • Re: AUSTRALIAS BEST RIDES

It's probably not in the Best Road category, but everyone with their own transport (car, bike, or bicycle* ) in Newcastle will have done the Mount Sugarloaf Rd (see http://osm.org/go/uYulaCRv--) as a right of passage. • Re: Parking at Station

It might add a +5 to the noticability of the scooter in the bike-racks, but it will add a +25 to the "no-one will bother touching or vandalizing the scoot" stat. In NSW ...

I think the rider of this used to attend the Uni of New England around 1999... I was always seeing him parked around Mary White College.
Have you thought about a Rambla? It has the same 250cc engine as the other Piaggio scoots, in a sportier, more compact and lighter weight package...
The X7 has a 12 litre fuel tank, compared to the Rambla's 7.5 litre tank (the sacrificies made for a step-through...). The X7 probably has the ...
