I am thinking (seriously) about selling my bike and returning to a scooter.
Honda has released some details about the new NSS300 Forza; see this page at BikePoint(dot)com. The Forza will not be released until August. I will have a look at this bike when its available. At this stage it is looking good. I had a ...
How tall are you Peter? I'm interested in this scoot too but i won't get to see it in the flesh until the weekend at the earliest...
I'm about 175 cm and a little on the portly side. The local scooter shop owner removed the "bum rest" just to see if it was a feasible proposition ...

  • Re: Piaggio BV 350 (Beverly)

Thanks for the two responses. Today I had a sit on a BV350 and I find it too uncomfortable. The "bum rest" is too far forward and the front part of the seat cuts into my legs. I think my bum is just too big . I will wait and see what the Honda Forza 300 is like. I also still like a Vespa 300. For me, it might be a battle of the ...

  • Piaggio BV 350 (Beverly)

Hi! I am thinking (seriously) about selling my bike and returning to a scooter. I want something in the 300 to 400 cc range that can do a bit of occasional touring (around NSW and Victoria). I like the look of the Suzuki and Yamaha 400's but screen size is a problem (I used to ride a Honda SilverWing and large screens are just too noisy). I ...
I agree with you about the Majesty. It's a perfect choice.
Mick, Well done! Could I ask you a couple of questions please? Did you buy it new and if so is there a 2013 model or are dealers still selling older MY bikes? How did you find the wind screen on your ride home? I used to have a Honda ...

  • Re: Suzuki Burgman 650 question
removal of the pillion backrest just leaves three holes in the upper rear deck
vortexau, Great! Thanks for your reply. I would be happy enough just to put three shorter bolts back into the holes. This was exactly what I was looking for. Actually a nice bolt-on rack would look good. Regards, Peter
when the top box is fitted you can buy/fit a pad to the box as a pillion backrest
Dingo, Thanks for the reply. Actually, I don't want a pilion support at all. I never carry a pilion so I find these stylised pilion rests look a bit silly when you ride solo. My SilverWing looked like the ...

  • Suzuki Burgman 650 question

Hi! I'm thinking about selling my nearly two-year-old Kawasaki VN900 Custom and returning to a scooter. I rode a Honda SilverWing prior to the Kawasaki and miss its ease of use and weather protection. The Suzuki Burgman 650 seems to be a good thing (I don't really like BMW and will not buy an out of date Yamaha Tmax - however, I would ...
The scoot now has nearly ten thousand k on it and the tyres are definately starting to show their age and it's time to start thinking of at least with what kind of tyres I'm going to replace them with.
Hi! • Re: Gillera Fuoco or Suzuki Burgman
...I really like the look and extra safety that 3 wheels on the Fuoco offers. The Burgman has so much to offer also, reliability, build quality, comfort and power, I also really like the relaxed riding position. My only concern is that the Burgman is a big bike which is a little ...
