  • Re: Brisbane scooter servicing?

So I'm still in search of a mechanic in North Brisbane who will work on my 70cc two stroke scoot to tune it to where it should be. I fitted a new pipe (replace a stuffed Arrow Street with a new Tecnigas Trek) and the Aerox is now a little sluggish of the mark compared to when the old Arrow system was on it.  It's so sad that some of ...

  • Re: Double D rings

My AGV K-3 has quick release and AS1698. Not sure why some do and some don't have quick release. I know generally the more you spend on a full face race replica you only get double D fasteners.

  • Aerox Acceleration Issues

Hi guys, I just changed the pipe (did nothing else) on the Aerox (2002 70cc 2t) because the old one was leaking everywhere and have now noticed the scoot is a bit sluggish at getting up to speed. Obviously top speed hasn't been impacted, it just doesn't have the same pull as before. The old pipe was an Arrow Street system and the new pipe ...

  • Brisbane scooter servicing?

I'm looking for a place to service and fix (when something goes wrong that I don't know how or have the time to fix) my Yamaha Areox 50cc in the Brisbane (prefer north side) area.    Anyone know of some good places?

  • Re: New (to me) Aerox 50

Hi INMA, it's a great little scoot from my limited time with it. It is liquid cooled and the stinger is the small tube between the expansion chamber and the silencer. From what I've seen, the powerband is around 9,000 rpm.   I'll probably fit an entire new exhaust soon but for now I need to concentrate on draining the oil ...

  • Re: New (to me) Aerox 50

So I picked up Smokey today and was able only to take it for a really short blat. Holy crap this thing really moves, the speed is amazingly quick and not just coz is a 50  (70 really). I am really impressed with how quick of the mark it is and it gets to an indicated 80km/h (so probably only 70) in a flash - faster than my Fly 150 did just ...

  • New (to me) Aerox 50

One more sleep till I pick up my latest bike/scoot, an 02 Aerox 50 with a 70cc kit, pipe and transmission work. I can't wait to be back on a two stroke again and am loving the idea of riding wot the whole time. I'm going to post updates as I go - I'm recovering from an injury at the moment which will limit my time riding but it gives ...

  • Re: Aerox 50 advice needed

Thanks INMA, fantastic response.  l just give the mechanic a call on Monday and see if he can prepare for the job of checking jets, belts and rollers when i collect the scoot. Hopefully it was done properly and needs nothing as there are receipts for all of the work (I haven't seen them yet coz I can't get there) so this will all be ...

  • Aerox 50 advice needed

Hi guys,  I'll be picking up a second hand (obviously as they're not sold new in Australia anymore) Aerox 50cc and am wanting some advice from Aerox 50cc owners about roller weights, jets and oil.  The scoot has a performance pipe, a 70cc kit and multivar fitted so what I want to check is the best size jet for this set up and ...
